Home care fund for Keiko in Sapporo
Keiko, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a heart attack Keiko can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Keiko desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Keiko worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $470
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $260
• Medication and prescriptions: $420
With deep gratitude,
Hiroshi
