Home care fund for Joy in Epe
Joy, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 82. After a diagnosis of dementia Joy can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Joy desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Joy worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $150 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $50
• Medication and prescriptions: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
