Home care fund for Hatem in Nottingham
Help Hatem stay in his own home with six months of part-time care.
🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom616 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a stroke last August Hatem can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Hatem desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Hatem worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $2,000
• Medication and prescriptions: $580
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $175
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $445
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
