Home care fund for David in Nuremberg
David, 84, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 84. After a heart attack David can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and David desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
David worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $250
• Part-time carer (eight months): $4,750
• Medication and prescriptions: $750
