Home care fund for Chitra in Coimbatore
Help Chitra stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 81. After worsening Parkinson's disease Chitra can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Chitra desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Chitra worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $450 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $100
• Medication and prescriptions: $45
• Part-time carer (four months): $305
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Chitra.
It's all in the list in the story. mobility aids and bathroom adaptations is the big one at $100, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Sending strength, Sangeetha. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest
Thanks for sharing this, Sangeetha. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
