Warri
I'm caring for my father, who's 94. After a heart attack Bolaji can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Bolaji desperately wants to stay at home. I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Bolaji worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $150 goes: • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45 • Medication and prescriptions: $75 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Emeka
