Home care fund for Autumn in Cardiff
Autumn, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,100 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Autumn can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Autumn desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Autumn worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,100 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $420
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,400
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $280
