Home care fund for Andreea in București
Andreea, 91, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 91. After a fall and hip fracture Andreea can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Andreea desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Andreea worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $1,500
• Medication and prescriptions: $270
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $115
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $265
