Paolo was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in June. The surgeon at Quezon City Community Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,050, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $850 short.
my husband has been in and out of Quezon City Community Hospital since June. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,050 is more than we can find.
