Hiba needs a powered wheelchair - help us make it happen
A powered wheelchair would give Hiba independence - we're $750 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Alexandria Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $750.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $750 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $640
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $50
