Zenaida was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Bacoor Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Zenaida is 38, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bacoor Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,350 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000 • Scans and lab work: $285 Every share and every dollar helps.
