Zahid was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January. The oncology team at Bogra University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Zahid is 26, worked as a construction supervisor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bogra University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $85
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $610
• Transport to Bogra University Hospital: $70
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
