Yiğit's facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Yiğit was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at Istanbul Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Yiğit's 31, worked as a bank teller until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Istanbul Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
• Scans and lab work: $390
• Household costs while unable to work: $425
