I served fourteen years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $3,400. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery.
