Teresa is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Teresa was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at the Fort Worth Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Teresa is 31, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fort Worth Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Household costs while unable to work: $1,250
• Scans and lab work: $810
