Tahmina was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April. The oncology team at Nottingham Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Tahmina is 35, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nottingham Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,900 goes: • Scans and lab work: $1,050 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $470 • Transport to Nottingham Regional Medical Center: $380 If you're reading this, thank you.
