Help Sofía save Ollie - surgery needed
Ollie, Sofía's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,250.

Ollie is my rabbit of three years. On 18 August we rushed to Akron Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Akron Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,100
• Medication and follow-up visits: $300
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $850

Sending strength, Sofía. This could happen to any of us. After 12 years in engineering I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Sofía. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Amsterdam.
Hope things get better soon, Sofía. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. Take care.
