Siva was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in October. The oncology team at the Nashik Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Siva is 36, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Nashik Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,600 goes: • Scans and lab work: $175 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55 • Household costs while unable to work: $170 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Jayanthi
