My niece, Auma, is 15 and in the final year of school. Auma loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The school-leaving exam is in May. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Nakuru or online, for about twelve weeks. Auma is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Auma's year. Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
