Help Shan get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
After twelve years of service, Shan is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $1,800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Essential household items: $310
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,100
• Transport to appointments: $390
