Help Sergio through 10 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
Sergio is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Sergio was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April. The oncology team at St. Petersburg Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Sergio is 36, worked as a primary school teacher until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to St. Petersburg Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $13,800 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,700
• Transport to St. Petersburg Cancer Centre: $1,250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $940
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,160
