Samuel was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in March. The oncology team at Epe University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Samuel is 45, worked as a bakery worker until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Epe University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,650 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150 • Scans and lab work: $105 • Transport to Epe University Hospital: $125 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 • Household costs while unable to work: $160 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
