Help Renata keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in São Paulo.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 325 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the São Paulo market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $800 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $80
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $310
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $410
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
