Elena, my sister, passed away on 8 February after a road accident. She was 70 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 26 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Elena to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $260
• Funeral home services and casket: $530
