Help Rekha restart a small grocery stall in Houston after the demolition of the market
A small grocery stall in Houston needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after the demolition of the market.

For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Houston. In December, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $280
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,550
• Working capital for the first month: $570
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wanted to say thank you properly. 9% funded and the first invoice got paid this week. - Rekha
Thank you all. We're at 6% now ($155). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing.
Small update. $105 so far, the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled.
