Raghavan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Mumbai University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Raghavan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Raghavan has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Raghavan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Raghavan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $600 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $290 • Final term tuition: $260 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $20 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Dhanalakshmi

    • Thinking of you and your family, Dhanalakshmi. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My neighbor in Kathmandu donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
