Help Queen keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Queen runs a volunteer pantry feeding 262 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Saturday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 262 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 58% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Awka market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $150
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $245
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
