Help Otieno replace the fuel pump and return to work
Otieno drives for a living in Entebbe, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $190
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Labor charges: $40
Thanks for being kind about this.

Praying for you. Hope the shop reopens soon. God bless
thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Heliopolis.
So sorry you're going through this, Otieno. Shared this with my family. Take care
So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 28 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
