Help Nikos restart a laundry service in Athens after floodwater
Nikos has run a laundry service for three years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $1,900 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Athens. In November, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $910
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $330
• Shop repairs and licensing: $280
• Working capital for the first month: $380
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you, Nikos. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Praying for you. Hope the shop reopens soon. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Chiang Mai.
Hope things get better soon, Nikos. Hope this works out for you. Love from Campinas
Hang in there, Nikos. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care!
