Shweta, my grandmother, passed away on 18 July after complications from pneumonia. She was 32 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Shweta to have a dignified farewell.
