Help Nahid restart a street-food cart in Mumbai after floodwater
Nahid has run a street-food cart for three years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a street-food cart in Mumbai. In August, floodwater took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $250
• Initial stock: ingredients: $80
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Working capital for the first month: $90
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Nahid. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours.
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Messina.
Thanks for sharing this, Nahid. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't give up. All the best.
