Help My through 4 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
My is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States119 views
My was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in April. The oncology team at Anaheim Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
My is 51, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Anaheim Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,500 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $450
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Transport to Anaheim Regional Medical Center: $500
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500
With deep gratitude,
Nhân
