Help Min-seo keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Min-seo runs a volunteer pantry feeding 243 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 243 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the El Paso market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,700
• Refrigeration and electricity: $290
• Baby formula and diapers: $410
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

hope it all works out, Min-seo. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Min-seo
Sure. The biggest one is rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale), $1,700. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
