Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Valentin in Toulouse
The roof at Valentin's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Toulouse. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,950, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hang in there, Valentin. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My husband and I read this together. God bless
