Help Min-seo keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Min-seo runs a volunteer pantry feeding 243 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 243 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the El Paso market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,700
• Refrigeration and electricity: $290
• Baby formula and diapers: $410
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Thinking of El Paso.
Thanks for sharing this, Min-seo. This could happen to any of us.
hope it all works out, Min-seo. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Min-seo
Sure. The biggest one is rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale), $1,700. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Dhaka.
Praying for you, Min-seo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.
Rooting for you. Great idea, hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
