Andrew, my brother, passed away on 7 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 64 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 26 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Andrew to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $4,450 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,550 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $990 • Transport of the deceased: $590 • Memorial gathering for the family: $320 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from Miles

  1. Quick update: $1,353 raised so far (30%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Update from Lexington: I met with the funeral home and confirmed the amounts. We're at 15% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($365 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
