A scheduled a craniotomy in December is out of reach without help covering $1,200 of the cost.

Bilal was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in September. The surgeon at Mansoura University Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,700, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my father has been in and out of Mansoura University Hospital since September. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Bilal struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Bilal won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $610
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $370
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $45
• Post-operative medication: $30
• Physiotherapy sessions: $105
• Travel and lodging for the family: $40
Thank you so much.

rooting for you, Huda. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 28 people at work. God bless.
Thinking of you, Huda. Get well soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
