Help Michelle move out of an unsafe apartment this Monday
Michelle has found a safe new apartment in San Diego and needs help moving heavy furniture on Monday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in San Diego, and the lease starts on Monday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Thinking of San Diego.
