In April I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Seoul University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for July. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $4,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $3,000 short.
Doctors at Seoul University Hospital told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without valve repair surgery. I work as a hotel cleaner, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $4,000 is far beyond what I've.
