Help me pay for ACL reconstruction at Gdańsk General Hospital
After a deviated septum causing chronic infections, Elżbieta was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In June I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Gdańsk General Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and I have been placed on the schedule for September. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,950, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $1,550 short.
Doctors at Gdańsk General Hospital told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. I work as a delivery rider, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,950 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a delivery rider have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to drive during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,150
• Physiotherapy sessions: $300
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $100
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
