Help me pay for a craniotomy at Newcastle Regional Medical Center
After a cleft palate needing repair, Jun was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In April I was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair. My surgeon at Newcastle Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for June. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $6,000, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $3,550 short.
Doctors at Newcastle Regional Medical Center told me a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a warehouse packer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $6,000 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a warehouse packer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to look after the children alone during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $360
• Post-operative medication: $360
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $600
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,850
• Physiotherapy sessions: $380
I hope life is good to you.

Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Salem.
Sending love. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Thinking of Newcastle.
You're not alone, Jun. Wishing Jun a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 28 people at work.
Rooting for you, Jun. Get well soon. We're a small family in Cần Thơ but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Hang in there, Jun. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Rooting for you, Jun. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Newcastle
