Help Lydia with a HVAC technician's skills: a leaking gas line
Looking for a licensed HVAC technician in Columbus to donate time or work at cost.

In June an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,050 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $180.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope it all works out. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Put this on a community board in Salerno this morning. Blessings.
Good luck, Lydia. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Santos so I could bring a meal. Love from Hyderabad.
This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in São Paulo donated after I showed her your page. Love from São Paulo.
