Help Lucky restart a neighborhood bakery in Johannesburg after a fire in the building
Lucky lost a commercial oven to a fire in the building and needs $950 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Johannesburg. In August, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $480
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $90
• Shop repairs and licensing: $155
• Working capital for the first month: $225
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
