I served six years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $2,650. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $2,650 goes: • Housing deposit and first month: $1,100 • Essential household items: $210 • Training provider fees: $1,340 Thank you so much.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Lincoln.

Housing deposit and first month is $1,100 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
