Help Laura move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
Moving day on Saturday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Los Angeles, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Los Angeles
