Oscar is my rabbit of six years. On 18 May we rushed to the Frankfurt Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,100.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Frankfurt Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $115
• Emergency surgery: $570
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $415
Every share and every dollar helps.

Rooting for you, Karin. Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together.
