Emergency vet bill for Rocky in Winston-Salem
A rabbit named Rocky needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,900 bill the family cannot cover.

Rocky is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 19 September we rushed to the Winston-Salem Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,900.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Winston-Salem Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $490
• Medication and follow-up visits: $280
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
