Help José through 12 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Madrid Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

José was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at Madrid Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
José is 44, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Madrid Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,550
• Scans and lab work: $980
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $220
