Help Jacob move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
Jacob has found a safe new apartment in Los Angeles and needs help moving heavy furniture on Saturday.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Los Angeles, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
