Hazel is my rabbit of two years. On 3 March we rushed to Jakarta Barat Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $300. They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Jakarta Barat Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $300 goes: • Emergency surgery: $135 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $85 • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40 Thank you for reading my story.
